I booked the hotel and paid in advance with a debit card to Stayforlong. When I arrived at the hotel, there was no reservation for 6 nights, even though I had received a voucher for the reservation by email from Stayforlong. The hotel and I tried to contact Stayforlong’s customer service, but they did not respond at all and kept saying that they were investigating the matter. I also wrote several emails to the customer service, with receipts and vouchers for the nights paid attached. Stayforlong’s customer service did not investigate the matter in any way but said that they would get back to me when the process was resolved. I have not received any contact from them. In the end, the customer service did not respond to my messages or calls anymore. It has been many months since the matter and over 600 euros were spent on the scam. I feel that Stayforlong is a scam company that writes a large part of the reviews themselves and many people who buy in advance with a debit card lose their money to the company’s scam.
